Tooling is extremely important, good tooling comes from good design, and this comes from experience. At Kingston Plastics, we have the experience needed to better design tooling, which leads to high efficiency. Our tool room is particularly effective in making tooling revisions and maintenance. Since we must live with a tool and maintain production schedules, good tooling is important. The mold maintenance and tooling inspection are performed while taking down the tool after an order is completed.
Kingston Plastics utilizes CAD/CAM technology for part design. We also have capabilities for reading and translating a variety of files from CAD systems, including 3D. E-mail is used to transfer data and to make recommendations to customers with any new or existing projects. Mold flow analysis will be performed when required.
